World Driving School started with one instructor, one car, and a long list of students who could not find lessons in a language they understood.
Our story
World Driving School was founded by Lyn after years of watching capable drivers fail their exams for one reason only: nobody explained the rules in a language they were comfortable in. What began as weekend lessons for a handful of friends grew into a full bilingual school.
Today we run a small, carefully chosen team of instructors who all teach in both English and Japanese. We deliberately stay small — it is the only way to keep the same instructor with you from your first lesson to your license.
We believe a driving test is the easy part. The real goal is a driver who stays calm in traffic, reads a road they have never seen before, and still enjoys the drive ten years from now.
